Stitching and Construction Challenges
An open knit frays, so seams need a cover stitch or a flatlock rather than a plain overlock. Stretch panels also need a stitch that moves with the fabric, since a rigid seam on a power mesh panel snaps under load. Specify the seam type in the tech pack instead of leaving it to a machine operator's default.
