Lining and Opacity
Opacity is the detail that ends brands. A swim fabric that looks solid on a mannequin can turn transparent when wet and stretched, a failure that shows up on a customer. Specify a lining on any light colour, test the fabric wet and stretched over a hand, and treat a full front lining as standard rather than optional.
Lining also changes the garment's behaviour. A double layer holds shape better and hides seams, but it adds weight, dries more slowly and increases cost. Sizing Across a Swim Range
Custom swimwear sizing does not grade the same way as a tee. Bust, waist and hip move at different rates, and the rise on a one piece decides whether the garment pulls at the shoulder.
